The Numbers Don’t Lie

Without solid research, you’re flying blind. Luckily, one of the partners in the Hunger Free Kansas initiative is the Kansas Health Institute who not only provide us with solid baseline to work from, but up-to-date metrics to show us what’s working, what’s not and how far we still have to go to reach our goal.

Hunger Free Kansas and the Kansas Health Institute have also created posters reflecting this data. Designed to spark conversation, deepen understanding, and promote community engagement around hunger, health, and nutrition access issues in our state, these posters can be reserved at no cost for use in your organization or classroom or for an upcoming community event. Below are research reports that track the issue of food insecurity on both a state and community level in Kansas.
